Amy is an entertainment lawyer, CEO, consultant, and influential speaker who is dedicated to the outreach and education of entrepreneurs and creatives within the entertainment industry. She is an engaging and motivational speaker who has shared a wealth of knowledge at several colleges, law schools, and national and international conferences. Prior to devoting her time and sharing knowledge with new and established business owners, aspiring lawyers, and content creators within the entertainment industry, Amy’s voice could be heard through her role as a writer and contributor for the Huffington Post and Huff Post Live. As the owner and founder of Amy Oraefo, P.C., a boutique law firm, Amy serves as counsel for entrepreneurs, entertainers, and content creators. She has negotiated millions in client deals in connection with brands such as iHeart Media, Kobalt Music, Revolt, and Viacom, to name a few. Amy is dedicated to advocating for her clients both nationally and internationally and she has a passion to assist in the growth and protection of their respective brands. In addition to devoting time to skilfully manage her law firm and serve as an Adjunct Professor, Amy is also a global consultant and advisor for content creators within the United States and in various countries throughout the continent of Africa. She is currently on the Board of Governors for the Atlanta chapter of The Recording Academy and is also involved in several organisations that promote the growth of entrepreneurship and entertainment.
