Black History Month: Radio Hangout

The final event of our BHM collaboration with adidas is this Friday 27th February, from 18:00 - 22:00. We've got radio shows from Hervé exploring music from West Africa, okcandice focusing on Meshell Ndegocello, modú experimenting with Black prophecies, Quest?onmarc highlights call and response techniques, while Ncube looks into Black cinema, yano2d plays Haitian music and Richard Akingbehin reels off an hour of dub poetry. Catering comes from Taste Of Ghana (offered for free from 7PM, first-come-first-served), and limited edition adidas t-shirts will be on sale to raise money for victims of Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean. The t-shirts are an extension of the fundraising event we held in November 2025 together with Nomansland and Antilles NY. It’s a limited edition run of 50 shirts, designed by Grant Gibson and screen printed with words chosen by contributors to the event that represent Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti. The shirts are on sale for a suggested 30-40€ donation - cash only - which will be evenly split between Hope For Haiti, Jah Jah Foundation and a trusted individual taking the funds to Cuba.

Everyone is welcome, RSVP below.
